About the scholarship:

Wallace J. Zins, the father of Dr. Stephen Zins, passed away in 2004.  Wallace embodied the spirit that in order for one to succeed, an education was a must.  Even under difficult financial circumstances, Wallace never denied any of his children the opportunity to attend college.  He believed that given the right opportunity, anyone could pursue their dreams and achieve far beyond their wildest expectations.  With Wallace’s passion for learning, this scholarship is so named and proudly presented.
